Updated 26 September 2026 · Practical purchasing guidance. Product configuration and commercial terms must be confirmed for the actual order.
Keep dimensions separate
Ask whether dimensions describe the operating machine, a single section or the packed shipment. Preserve the supplier's width, depth, length and height labels instead of reordering unexplained numbers. Top decorations, seats and control panels may change the final envelope.
Clarify electrical figures
Rated, maximum and standby power are different fields. A source that lists alternative voltages does not prove that the unit automatically switches between them. Ask for the offered machine's nameplate and the matching installation instructions; electrical work should be handled by qualified personnel.
Define the player configuration
One cabinet, two stations and four linked players are not interchangeable descriptions. Identify the physical positions included in the order, then separately confirm any linking requirements. Check the software edition and network services needed to reproduce the demonstrated setup.
Resolve vague quotation lines
- Model: include edition and cabinet configuration.
- Condition: attach photographs and the agreed preparation list.
- Accessories: identify headsets, seats, control units and other included parts.
- Delivery: state packing, destination, delivery term and unloading responsibility.
- Support: state coverage, exclusions, response channel and applicable costs.
Resolve uncertainty before shipment
If two references disagree, do not average the figures or choose the smaller one to make the machine fit. Ask for a measurement or an identification photograph of the actual unit. Record the confirmed values in the quotation so the purchasing, transport and installation teams use the same specification.

Five model examples that make quotation differences visible
Use the examples below to ask better questions, not to transfer one machine’s specifications to another. These are catalogue references; current unit photos, its nameplate and the accepted quotation establish what you are buying.
1. A dimension may include something you did not expect
The CHUNITHM reference depth includes the floor mat. Ask whether a quoted dimension describes the cabinet body or the full operating setup, and whether the mat is included. Conversely, a cabinet-only dimension may omit the space needed for players or servicing. Record those allowances separately using the appropriate installation instructions.
2. The same title can have different cabinet sizes
Dinosaur World has separate 65-inch and 75-inch references, as well as water-shooting and laser-shooting configurations. A quotation that says only “Dinosaur World” leaves important questions unanswered. Record the shooting system and screen/cabinet version before comparing size, electrical requirements or maintenance work.
3. A complete installation is not just its main display
Dance Battle is described with one main screen and two secondary screens. Have the supplier list all screens, supporting structures and interaction components included. For a multi-part shipment, request the number, size and gross weight of the packages as separate fields from the installed dimensions.
4. Version uncertainty should remain visible
The Hot Pursuit VR Edition guide gives approximate reference dimensions and describes display differences by version. Do not turn approximate catalogue figures into confirmed freight measurements. Ask for the exact edition and current measurements, then attach them to the order.
5. An optional mechanism is not automatically included
With Piano Tiles 3, confirm whether ticket hardware is fitted and included rather than inferring it from the title. Use the same approach for headsets, network equipment, consumables and spare controls on other machines. A quotation should distinguish included parts, optional additions and items supplied locally.
A practical order-confirmation checklist
- Identify the unit: model, edition, condition, current photographs and the nameplate. State the number of complete cabinets or player stations.
- Confirm operation: language, local game modes, tested controls, installed software and any services that depend on accounts or regional networks.
- Separate measurements: installed dimensions with labelled axes; required operating clearances; packed dimensions, package count and gross weight.
- Record preparation: agreed defects, replacement parts, final test evidence and accessories included. For rhythm cabinets, use the input-specific checks in the music machine comparison.
- Define delivery and support: destination, shipping term, unloading responsibility, applicable warranty, exclusions and responsibility for replacement-part freight.
Keep unconfirmed fields out of the final approval
If a supplier cannot confirm a field, label it pending rather than copying a value from a similar cabinet. Agree who will supply the measurement or evidence and when. Before dispatch, check that the accepted quotation, test record and packing list refer to the same machines. This avoids approving a model name while leaving its actual configuration unresolved.
For a mixed installation, compare the family arcade range and driving arcade range alongside the music models. Send the selected product links with your enquiry so that the reply can be matched to specific configurations.
